These "that's-technically-incorrect-debates" are pointless and unnecessary and not to mention annoying. The point of communication, and even technical communication, is to share ideas and be understood. I don't think anybody was confused by OfAllTheNerf's "airpowered stuff" comment.
Sure, springers utilize air to propel darts, but it's not hard to figure out that OfAllTheNerf was juxtaposing blasters that use air tanks and blasters that utilize springs and plungers as the primary method of propelling darts. Now, don't get me wrong; I'm all for improving post quality here at the Haven. The administrators have done a great job of making this a haven and I appreciate their time and effort. Many members, however, in their overzealous attempts at striving for technical accuracy have promulgated these semantical debates that amount to nothing more than pedantic one-upmanship.
I'm not trying to offend anybody; I'm just stating that as long as grammar is appropriate and the posts are understandable, leave it be. Oh yeah, just so this post contains something on topic: I've noticed the trigger pull on the Big Blast is very hard.
Have any of you guys had problems with this? Posted 23 March - PM I saw captain slug reinforce his trigger and I've seen other mods tape some more plastic onto the trigger for a better pull I think. It threw off my aim a couple shots. I gooped a bent angle iron onto the broken trigger and dremeled the insides of it to fit it. Last night when I got home, I hot glued some foam on it. Posted 23 March - PM Thanks guys. I had heard that the trigger broke easily and I wasn't sure if it was because it was so hard to pull or just a really poor design I think it's a little bit of both.
I think I'm just going to reinforce it with some epoxy putty I'm of the opinion that the only good use of the stuff is structural support and hopefully that will be enough to prevent any breaking. Preventing is always easier than fixing.

I am thoroughly aware there are threads for product availability and modding materials, but I found them of little help when I started nerf and modding. I know they arn't the best blaster but we nerf indoors and they're good noob guns as you can't jam them. After AR removal and the straw mod they get reasonable ranges.
I've also heard rumors there are Ironman magstrikes lurking in inventory gathering dust. Try your local hobby store, as they probably sell metal material for crafters. Target isn't bad mainly the Hulk blasters and the Iron man Firefly. Also, Gosford Hobbies has Imperial brass pipe. I have already used some to mod a Single Tek. The other thing is if you use Metric PVC you can use the backer rod you find at bunnings.
